I've been in a very much r&b mood this week so I decided this song would be the right way to end this phase. Besides if Pharell can't get it on and poppin, who can

Too Much Is Enuff Post: the UK Edition
Got two English acts that you may have heard of. One is Mr. Hudson who has released anew song and is also the protege of Kanye West. He's constantly released good stuff and I'm looking forward to his album (whenever it comes out). The other is La Roux, who's been taking over the world with their songs and their lead singer crazy pompadour hairstyle. La Roux teams up with dubstep DJ Skream again to make another prime cut.

Of all the mash up mixtapes I've heard this summer. This has to be my favorite ( and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan of Lil Wayne and the Smiths). Some made a mixtape mixing Lil Wayne songs and the Smiths classics form the movie 500 Days of Summer. Check out the link and the tracks

Are you tired of your old power hour playlist?
Because if you are, you're in luck. The guys at goodmusicallday.com have just created this summer power hour list full of goodies from this summer, and best off all it has Lil John screaming shots when each minute is up, and with a logo like this how can you say no.
All joking aside it is a pretty good power hour playlist and I'm probably going to be using it tonight. Links at the bottom

Can't stop the Dean's List
Hey guys here's another song from the Dean's List. They seem to be on a role lately and here are two new songs off of their mixtape. One named Karshashian ( try to guess what that's about) and Valley Girl which does a sweet job of sampling The Script's Breakeven.

Keepin' Up With The Jones
After waiting the longest couple of days I finally got to go to the Chiddy Bang concert featuring Daniel Merriweather yesterday night. Needless to say it was sick, between reckless kids jumping off of vans ( didn't end pretty) and Daniel Merriweather drinking with everyone off of stage and then going straight into a performance it was a sweet night. The highlight of the show was of course still Chiddy Bang. More specifically Mr. Xaphoon Jones the drummer/ producer/ hypeman of the group. He was on fucking fire.
Here's some of Xaphoon's remixes off of his mixtape that are bananas (download link under the video)

Journey, the gift that keeps on giving
If any of you have been to a college party/ bar or two then you probably have heard this song one and if you've been to any more college's party you've definitely heard this song, probably around 2 in the morning-ish. This is a remix I found that breathes some new life into this oldie. Kind of makes me want to look forward to the requisite journey moment at the next party I go to.
